Please join Councillor Mary Locke and Bournville Labour Party volunteers  tomorrow (Saturday 3 September) for the Stirchley Late Summer Bash. Following on from our successful fundraiser for B30 Foodbank at CoCoMAD earlier this year, we’ll be running a tombola stall to raise money for Stirchley Park and the Stirchley parent and Toddler Group at Stirchley Baths.

Join us at Stirchley Park from 11am

Organised every year by Stirchley Neighbourhood Forum, the Stirchley Late Summer Bash is a family-friendly free event and will run from 11 am to 4pm in Stirchley Park (just behind the Co-op).

What’s on offer

As well as our ever-popular tombola stall (which helped raise £600 of food for B30 Foodbank at CoCoMAD earlier this year), Stirchley Late Summer Bash will feature:

  • FREE Amusements including cup and saucer ride, mini roundabout, mini go karts, bouncy castle, bungee run, punch and Judy and a mini Ferris wheel and more.
  • Super-tasty outside catering including traditional bacon and eggs and delicious Asian food.
  • The famous (in Stirchley) raffle, with a chance to win over 50 prizes including a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, cinema vouchers, a picnic hamper and a £50 Next gift card.
  • Stalls from local traders and community groups.

You can find more details on the Stirchley Neighbourhood Forum website.

Meet Cllr Mary Locke

Mary, a Stirchley local resident, will be at the event all-day and is happy for you to ask her about any local issues you’ve got or simply to say hello.

We hope you can come along tomorrow to support this great local community event.
