We’re supporting Labour’s National Campaign Action Day for Inclusive Education this Saturday (1 October). Please join us at 11am on the corner of Mary Vale Rd and Franklin Rd to talk to residents about their views on education and Labour’s vision for schools and opportunities for all our children.
National Campaign Action Day for Inclusive Education
Following his re-election as Leader of the Labour Party last week, Jeremy Corbyn declared Saturday 1 October a National Campaign Action Day for Inclusive Education.
Up and down the country, Labour Party members and our supporters will be out taking to local people to understand their views on education and to explain Labour’s vision for schools and opportunities for all our children.
It’s by having these conversations week in, week out we can make the case for a Labour government so please do lend a hand if yo can. You can sign up via the form below or simply turn up on the day.
New members and supporters welcome
Bournville Labour Party’s membership has more than doubled in size over the past year. We are a friendly group and are keen to welcome all members and supporters, old and new alike. If it’s your first time volunteering, you’ll be supported by a more experienced member.
Our conversations in Bournville are part of Steve’s regular ‘Talk Saturday’ events across the Selly Oak constituency. In addition to speaking to people in Bournville there will also be a constituency phone bank on the day. If you’d like to help on the phones rather than talk to residents face-to-face, please sign up using the form below
Hope to see you on Saturday for our first campaign event of the autumn!
