Care for the NHS Day in Cotteridge tomorrow

Care for the NHS Day on Saturday 26 November 2016

Tomorrow (Saturday 26 November) volunteers from Bournville Labour Party will be in Cotteridge between 12 noon and 1pm at the junction of Watford Road and Pershore Road to ask people to support Labour’s campaign to make sure our NHS gets the funding it needs now.

#CarefortheNHS

Under the Tories our NHS is underfunded and understaffed

  • Worst NHS deficits on record at £2.45 billion
  • Around 3.9 million people are now on the English waiting list to start treatment
  • 1.8 million people waited four or more hours in A&E last year – up over 400 per cent since 2010 (when Labour was in power)
  • One in four patients have to wait a week or more to see or speak to a GP or nurse, or do not get an appointment at all

Labour created the NHS to care for us all, now it’s time to care for the NHS. With your support we’ll be calling on Theresa May to give the NHS the funding it needs now.
