Today (2 June 2018) marks the 150th anniversary of the first Trades Union Congress (TUC). The congress brought the trade union movement together for the first time. Christmas is a really tough time of the year for some families in our community but thanks to the generosity of local people Cllr Mary Locke has been able to donate over 1,000 gifts to local children in need this Christmas.
